The Gentlewoman magazine has now achieved cult status. And for me it is becoming more and more a cult-pseudo-religious-fabulous lifestyle-slash-fashion bible. On this Spring Summer dedicated issue I particularly loved: The Class: a group study in colour editorial, the Gentlewoman Spring Summer 2011 coulour palette, the At home, At work editorial (it reminded of late british 1990s magazine The Face experimental diy editorials), the interview with Dr Frances Prenna Jones (cosmetic dermatologist),the "Good Morning" article where fourteen women (Margaret Howell, singer Robyn or Julie Verhoeven to name a few) share their particular rituals of every morning for a great day start and the maxi skirts editorial.
This issue made me crave for these amazing plastic sandals by Chloé. They are so utterly gorgeous, chic yet so simple and low key.
I decided to take some photos to illustrate the fantastic aesthetics and the intelligent and carefully selected contents of this "fabulous women's magazine".
I also post today a song that has been on my mind for quite some time now, it's by Flight Facilities and it features the vocals of the amazing Giselle. You can find this track featured on one of Kitsuné's compilations, Kitsuné Maison 10 "The Fireworks Issue ".
