Quatre Aventures de Reinette et Mirabelle

I've watched this Eric Rohmer 1987 film last night. I am big Rohmer fan and this film instantly became a favorite of mine. The film itself is the reeinvention of the city-mouse, country-mouse tale and Rohmer brilliantly plays in his quiet, understated way with those two different mannerisms, sensiblities and morals towards life, with very precise, direct dialogues.
I also liked the omnipresence of the color red in almost every frame: a sweater, a tablecloth, a motorbike, an ashtray.
