lately : the big easy

Dry.
My favorite flowers are now dry, but I think I'll save them anyway.

Papier d' Arménie
Your house is your temple (or is it your body?). Either way, make sure your house smells nicely (and btw your body too!) This is an ancient French incense that comes in the form of blotting paper and it's called Papier d'Arménie. It has been produced in the Parisian suburb of Montrouge since 1885.I confess I burn a few strips every now and then because I do love the perfume and also the story behind this product. This is what I consider chic: details and objects with some sort of story behind them, not in your face brands and concepts, not ladies dressed in the lastest fashions with clothes that wear them - and not the inverse.
I just don't dig the violence: violent imagery, violent consumerism, etc. (i.e. Purple magazine and its narrow-minded contents: here's Gucci mutha%$#rs, here's models showing their boobs, you ass&%$!, all of this  wrapped up with a lot of overexposure, that might be potentially harmful to your eyes and a lot of dumb, misogynous cliches).
Time to fold my Winter sweaters and store them in the drawers.

Breakfast of champions! Not!
 Just pass the black coffee

My favorite t-shirt in the Universe and beyond. Ever.
This t-shirt was a hand-me-down from a friend. I have it for over 15 years. It's baggy (because it's a man's tee) it's unbranded, the black has faded into this sort of burnout charcoal and I just feel like a million bucks whenever I wear it.
Summer beauty staples.
And some rocks! Rocks, that I  picked up near the beach while I was hiking a bit in the early morning. I have a soft spot for rocks. Go figure.
Oversized grey silk shirt.
A fluid, baggy silk shirt in a neutral color is my definition of sophistication. Add  a pop of color with some reddish lipstick stain to your lips and you're good to go.
